Emergent Sound for Resonant Bodies 016
On the 4th Dec 7-9:30pm at Shell Space, musicians T Xuan Nguyen, Reuben Bloxham, Manisha Anjali and Liv Jansz co-inquired through sonic exploration into the ‘feeling’ of nhớ , a vietnamese meaning both ‘to miss’ and ‘to remember’. This was supported by all participants and attendees enjoying a slice of Pandan Dreams; A cake made as a language of connection through memory, history and culture by T Xuan Nguyen.
Join in whatever way serves you, lay on the floor surrounded by cushions and candles, or rest with your back against the wall and meditate, sit on the sofa, or
a chair and draw, or rest, even sleep. The aim is to invite people to engage with live music in a way that is supportive and emergent, tapping into the powerful qualities that sound offers and the gift of simply being with others.
